In the latest episode of "The Breakdown With Bethany," Ali Fedotowsky-Manno — the beloved former Bachelorette, co-founder of 1to3Life, and a relatable mom of two — joined Bethany Braun-Silva for a candid conversation about family life, balance, and challenging traditional roles.
Ali and Bethany delved into the importance of making time for fun with family amid busy schedules. Ali emphasized the significance of creating memorable experiences with loved ones, even with a packed agenda.
Ali shared her insights on the concept of balance, noting that it's not a one-size-fits-all scenario. "I always try to tell the moms that follow me, like don't compare your life to mine, because it's different," Ali explained. "I can maybe make more time to work out because I work from home all day. So I can say I'm going to take a break and I'm going to go quickly work out for 20 minutes, you know, and it's not that easy for everyone. So don't compare yourself to others, we're all just doing the best we can. Balance doesn't exist."
Ali also talked about the non-traditional roles she and her husband have adopted in their marriage. "My husband and I have like non-traditional, non-serious roles in a marriage, right? Like, I do more of the traditional, like, male, like, finances, and I make more than my husband," Ali revealed. "Because I'm busier than my husband with work, he takes on more of the parenting. And it's so funny, because people will say things to me, like, 'Oh, your husband does everything, and you don't do anything.' And I'm just, like, you would never say this to me if I was a man. You know what I mean?"
Ali also highlighted her exciting new partnership with Mrs. T’s Pierogies, where she's inviting parents to take the Go-Fun-Me Challenge. This initiative encourages families to make a simple dinner one night a week and use the time saved to create a memorable experience together. "I love this partnership. Not only do, I'm like a huge Mrs. T's pierogi fan, but I love what they're doing with the GoFundMe challenge," Ali said. "So definitely tell us all about that. – I will, one, I am with you. Oh my gosh, the Mrs. T's pierogies are so good. Like, I don't know if people realize how delicious they are. Are you happy? Go out and get them. Like, the four cheese medley, my son is obsessed with."
